The Weekly Bulletin
Past Weekly Bulletins

Hi

Long time no see... My little government paid, and unexpected I might add, trip is over. Thanks so much for baring along with my absence. I’m finally back and very pleased to be sending this first of many more to come Weekly Updates. Looks like the market has been naughty during my absence. Really thought that you’d keep a handle on it for me, but you must have been busy too? :~) However, a turbulent market is nothing new to us. It seems that ever since the hordes of Day Traders stumbled into the world of on-line trading that it’s been a wide ride...one way or the other. It also appears that the infamous “Internet High Flyers” have been toiletized during all of this too, doesn’t it?

If you are one of the many, many Traders who have been trying to get into contact with me over the last few weeks...I offer my apologies to you. Whether you were trying to sign-up for an annual or temporary membership, asking a question, or offering up a new Rolling Stock to add to our List of Rollers – I promise that I’ll get to you as soon as possible. As you can imagine I’m really backlogged right now and it’ll take a little time for me to get caught up again. Your patience is very much appreciated.

This week’s new Rollers, which there’re 8 of, predominately sponsored by the letter “J” and a few of our ever vigilant RollingStock100 members. Unfortunately 26 of the old Rollers have passed-on over the month and are listed, as usual, at the bottom of the List. Yes, that’s a lot of stocks to pull from the List at one crack, but remember none had been removed for a month.

As for the www.rollingstock100.com web site the “Rolling Stock Screen” is going to be deactivated from the http://rollingstock100.com/RollingStocks_Search_Engine.html#Links page. If you’d like to use it you had better hurry as it’ll be disappearing very soon. The company sponsoring it is going to start charging a fee for having it embedded in the web site as it is on the RS100. Quite frankly the page counter states that there is little use of it anyway... so it’s being sent to the cornfield.

Something new and very fun has been added to the site... and it really works slick! It’s made by www.humanlink.com and allows visitors to, at the click of an icon, that’s been placed on almost every RS100 web page, to start up an instant chat session with me (LLH) via an automatic pop-up window directly from the web page the visitor is currently on. Its cost is free and you don’t have to download anything. It works by me turning it on here at the high tech, massive RS100 headquarters anytime I’m at my trusty computer. Sitting in front of the computer seems to be an almost constant thing for me as of late. When I’m not around the icon will ask you to click it and leave a message that will be sent to LLH@RollingStock100.com.

If you’re interested in trying this out the most likely times to catch me live are; almost anytime during the weekends, and from about 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekday evenings (Hawaii Standard time (-10:00 GMT.)) I actually hear an alarm sound whenever anyone enters the web site; plus, a phone ringing sound is generated when someone clicks the icon indicating that they want to chat or ask questions to a real-time, live LLH. This means that I can just leave my cabled in ISP on whenever I’m home and simply pickup on the rings. For a better explanation of the new HumanClick feature at RS100 please click into http://rollingstock100.com/Live_Help.html#Links .

As a final note... Believe it or not there still hasn’t been a way found for Netscape users to log onto the List of Rollers’ page yet. Any suggestions? Perhaps there’s a computer, Web Master, or Internet genius reading this that knows of some java or DHTML script out there (it would probably have to be a DHTML or HTML script actually) that would work as the code for a log-in page for Netscape users? If you know of anything or happen to have a whiz-bang idea of some other sort, please let me know. What’s working for the MSN Explorer users is locking/freezing up the computers of the Netscape users. Oh... The many little glitches encountered during ones’ life.

Hope you had a terrifically frightening Week! (only in regards to Halloween of course :)

P.S. I’m going to redeem my credibility in sending out the Weekly Update my pumping another out to you on Sunday, 5 November, 2000.

If you'd like to view the past Weekly Bulletins, there are a variety of places to go. Take you're pick! You'll find they're easily accessible for your viewing at Delphi Forums, RS100's Premium Board, Yahoo! Clubs, MSN Clubs, The Motley Fool, Lycos Clubs, and The Raging Bull.

I know what your thinking... What idiot?! Would have seven different message boards for their web site and post the identical information on each!? Well the answer is simple...LLH that's who :-0) If you've read this far you're probably expecting to stumble upon my reasoning for this about now? So here it is: each of my message boards are located in popular "communities" catering primarily to the financially minded web surfer. When one of these investing voyagers of the net drift onto one of the RollingStock100 message boards, the inclination is to click over and check out the web site that's sponsoring it...namely this one, RollingStock100.com! It's just a method of attracting future members by giving them a trail of bread crumbs to follow.

The Weekly Bulletin is emailed out as part of the Weekly Update. If you're under the impression that receiving a regular, free dosage of our seemingly endless babble, along with an updated list of our 100 Rollers and questions from other members would be a good thing...click the "SUBSCRIBE" link at either the top or bottom of this page.
